Riga trams

The Customs house.  Although it seems to be dated June 1914 it looks as if poles for the electrification of the trams are being erected.
Trams in the capital of Latvia have run since 1882, electrically powered since 1901.  The present system extends 153 km in the Soviet 5ft (1524 mm) gauge.  Many pics of the modern trams here.
