Studebaker truck, late 1940s

A scene taken outside the Wellington City Council's milk department in Tory Street, looking north, about the end of the 1940s.

The truck on the left is a Studebaker; the milk truck appears to be battery powered, probably a Shelvoke and Drewry or S&D, manufactured in Britain. Drewry is the same Drewry as in the Drewry Car Co.
